The Lyon festival has unveiled a batch of artists for its daytime programme.
The bulk of the daytime programme for this year's Nuits Sonores festival in France has been announced.
Earlier this month it was revealed that three artists would each curate a day for the Lyon festival's 15th edition: The Black Madonna (May 25th), Nina Kraviz (May 26th) and Jon Hopkins (May 27th).
Now, the acts picked by Jon Hopkins and The Black Madonna have been revealed. The latter will play back-to-back with Optimo, and she's chosen artists like Honey Dijon, Derrick Carter (who will play a disco set), Rahaan, Mark Ernestus' Ndagga Rhythm Force and ESG to join her. Jon Hopkins, meanwhile, has called on the likes of Barker & Baumecker, Daniel Avery, Nathan Fake, Ben Frost and Actress. The lineup for day two, which is being curated by Nina Kraviz, will be announced next month, as will the festival's nighttime programme.
