- The duo, which recently lost a member, has officially added a new one and will tour North America this fall.
The New Orleans duo Telefon Tel Aviv lost a member earlier this year, and now has gained another. They plan to tour this fall.
Founding member Charlie Cooper died in January right before the group's fourth full-length was released on BPitch Control. But despite the tragic circumstances, Joshua Eustis—the lone Telefon member—decided to continue touring in honor of his friend and bandmate. Eustis is now joined by Fredo Nogueira who has had a hand in writing TTA songs in the past. Eustis wrote in a statement in March that Nogueira has "basically been our best friend for a million years. He's always around when we're making a record."
Eustis and Nogueira will be touring throughout the United States and Canada throughout September and October in a headlining tour that will see them hit venues big and small throughout the continent.
