The compilation features new tracks from Flying Lotus, Siriusmo, L-Vis 1990 and more.
Ed Banger Records will release a compilation next month called Let the Children Techno, mixed by DJ Mehdi and label head Busy P.
The Parisian label is most famous for its raucous brand of electro house, as championed by artists like Justice and Sebastian, but Let the Children Techno shows them toying with more syncopated rhythms. Flying Lotus makes an appearance, as do Night Slugs co-founder L-Vis 1990 and dubstep icon Skream. Recent Monkeytown signee Siriusmo adds a further curveball to the tracklist. That said, cuts from Feadz, Mr. Oizo, Duke Dumont and others ensure the mix still has plenty of distorted synths and stomping beats. All but one of the tracks are previously unreleased.
If you're in London, you can get an early taste of the mix at XOYO on February 5th, when DJ Mehdi and Busy P headline Bang the Box. Tickets to that one are available here on RA.
