Shindig mark 19th birthday with Jamie Jones

- Newcastle's Shindig have announced that over two bank holidays—the 1st and 29th of May—they will be celebrating their 19th birthday at Hoults Yard. Shindig is one of the biggest club brands in Newcastle, and having resided in venues like World Headquarters and Digital, have now settled in at Hoults Yard. A pair of home-grown DJs will provide the sounds for the first part of Shindig's birthday celebrations on May 1st. Hot Natured man Jamie Jones will bring his brand of sample-heavy house to the table, while fellow Brit James Zabiela, who is known for his extensive use of loops and effects, completes the offering. The second night will be led by veteran New Jersey producer Dennis Ferrer, who recently formed Neuwave Renegades, a collective with The Martinez Brothers which both DJs and produces as a 'crew.' In support is young German artist Alex Niggemann who's label, Soulfooled, was launched in the spring of last year. Tickets for both events are available to purchase from RA Tickets
