This weekend's multi-venue celebration in Dalston also features Idjut Boys, Jahcoozi and Nadia Ksaiba among others.
This year's Land of Kings festival will take place on Thursday and Friday night at a smattering of different venues around Dalston.
The two-day fiesta features dozens of DJs and live acts, from Jahcoozi and 2 Many DJs to local artists like Idjut Boys and Nadia Ksaiba. Sleazy disco act In Flagranti will make an appearance, and Drums Of Death will join forces with Mumdance for a performance as, naturally, Mums of Death. The event has a culinary element as well, thanks to The Rebel Dining Society, who will provide a "three-course feast fit for a king" at an "undisclosed festival location." Some audio-visual royal wedding hijinks can be expected too, including a Kate Middleton-inspired striptease and something called "Cosmic Prawn Wedding Party." Participating venues include The Alibi, Print House Gallery, MC Motors, The Nest and Vortex Jazz Club.
