The San Francisco DJ has six dates planned on the eastern side of the US and Canada.
Claude VonStroke will head east for six parties in eight days, starting later this month.
Formally known as Barclay Crenshaw and originally from the Detroit area, Claude VonStroke jumped into the global spotlight with tracks like "Deep Throat" and "Who's Afraid of Detroit?" and has been cultivating a funky take on tech house in San Francisco with his Dirtybird Records imprint (and its sublabel, Mothership) for the last six years. Later this summer he'll release Makeovers, a collection of his remixes, on Dirtybird.
VonStroke makes frequent appearances around California but aside from sets at the Ultra and Electric Daisy festivals in Florida a few months ago, he hasn't played the east coast since last year. The trek kicks off Saturday July 30th in New York, where he'll share the decks at Good Units with fellow Dirtybird artists Justin Martin and Christian Martin. The following day will see him head to Montreal to play at Piknic Electronik. On Tuesday August 2nd he'll be in Washington DC, followed by a Wednesday night in Cambridge, Massachusetts alongside another Dirtybird labelmate, Tanner Ross. That Friday, VonStroke heads to Miami to take over the decks at the Electric Pickle before the tour concludes with a Saturday night in Toronto.
Tickets for the Dirtybird party in New York can be found here on RA, and tickets for VonStroke's night at the Electric Pickle can be purchased here.
