The Danish artist and his band will perform across the US and Canada later this year.
Trentemøller will take his live band on a cross-continental trek of North America, beginning in October.
A native of Copenhagen, Anders Trentemøller has been crafting his unique brand of emotional techno for more than ten years. He was a fixture on Poker Flat Recordings in the middle of the last decade; in 2006 the label released his highly-praised debut album The Last Resort. Since then, Trentemøller's indie rock roots have become even more apparent as the producer turned his focus onto the cinematic live performances he leads with his band at festivals and concert venues around the world. Later this year he'll release Remixed/Reworked, a double-album compilation of other artists' remixes from last year's Into The Great Wide Yonder as well as his own recent reworks for other artists.
Trentemøller and his band played a handful of shows across North America in the spring, but this fall will be his most expansive tour of the continent yet. In all the band will play sixteen concerts over three weeks, beginning with Boston on Wednesday, October 12th and followed by consecutive nights in Philadelphia, New York, Montreal and Toronto. A day off will lead to stops in Chicago and Lawrence, Kansas as the band crosses the country via Denver, Salt Lake City and Tempe, Arizona. The final week of the tour will be spent on the west coast, beginning with three events in California. Trentemøller and company will then move northwest to Portland (on Halloween) before the tour winds down in the beginning of November with a concert in Seattle followed by the tour closer in Vancouver.
