- The collaborative project by Steffi and The Analogue Cops will release its first LP in September.
According to Juno Pus, Third Side, a collaboration by Steffi and The Analogue Cops, will release its first LP in September.
Entitled Unified Fields, the eight-track LP will be the first full-length on Restoration Records, the Berlin-based imprint (and past Label of the Month) run by The Analogue Cops, AKA Lucretio and Marieu. Since it got off the ground in 2007, Restoration has consistently pushed a tough and stripped down sound that's largely fueled by the key duo's analog purism. Third Side is just one of Lucretio and Marieu's many collaborative projects—they're also behind the labels Appointment and LiveJam (along with John Swing and EMG of Relative Records) and have teamed up with Blawan and others in the past.
Unified Fields follows a string of EPs by Third Side that have come out on Restoration over the past two years. The album features a guest appearance from Panorama Bar resident nd_baumecker, who appeared on one Third Side 12-inch in the past, and Virginia, Steffi's go-to vocalist. Naturally, the album will be available only on vinyl.
