- The house duo's next 12-inch will drop via their own new label in October.
Berlin-based duo Matthew Burton & Kate Rathod will launch a new label called Shifted Flow next month.
Burton and Rathod have been making music together for the past few years. Originally from the UK, the pair specialise in a deep and minimalist form of house that often features the added touch of Radhod's vocals. To date, they've released just a handful of collaborative 12-inches, the most recent being February's The Flip Side EP. As a solo artist, Burton's production history goes back to the late '00s, having put music to wax for labels like Fear Of Flying, Retrofit and Leftroom. The forthcoming EP sees the Brits venture outside the club-oriented 4/4 territory they've spent much of their career working within. It's due for release in late October, with samples available now over at Burton's SoundCloud page.
