- Set to launch later this month, the Hot Creations subsidiary will have a more underground aesthetic.
Jamie Jones will launch a new Hot Creations sub-label later this month called HOTTRAX.
Jones and his Hot Creations cohorts are generally known for a consistently sunny and upbeat style of tech house—a sound that's perhaps best embodied by the recent Hot Natured hit "Benediction." With HOTTRAX, Jones takes a slightly different tack: this time the goal is to explore a more "underground dance floor orientated aesthetic." The first EP is a three-tracker from Jones himself called Change. It's due out December 17th on vinyl, with a digital release to follow in January. You can hear a snippet of the title track on the artist's SoundCloud page.
Tracklist

02. Road to the Studio
03. No Rush
HOTTRAX will release Change on December 17th, 2012.
