Still Music begins residency at Primary

- The Chicago label's first two nights will feature Rick Wilhite and Marcellus Pittman.
- Still Music will launch a residency at Chicago club Primary on January 25th. Jerome Derradji has run the Still Music imprint out of the Windy City since 2004, releasing deeper-leaning house music from artists such as Delano Smith and Raoul K. The new monthly residency will feature artists that have previously released on the label, as well as guests and newcomers who fit the Still Music aesthetic. The residency will begin on January 25th, with Toronto producer Basic Soul Unit—who just released his debut LP Motional Response on the imprint—and Detroit veteran Rick Wilhite. The second night, on February 22nd, will feature another key Detroit figure in Marcellus Pittman, along with Chicago local Svenghalisghost, known for his abstract house on L.I.E.S. Derradji will handle the opening DJ duties for both nights.
