- Ancient Methods, Svreca and AnD will also appear on Unknown Precept's first release, due out on April.
French publisher Unknown Precept will release a compilation entitled The Black Ideal in April.
Established techno producers including Shifted, Ancient Methods and Semantica chief Svreca will all appear on the compilation, which is being released in conjunction with Monograph, a new publication focused on electronic music (The Black Ideal will be released at the same time as the journal's first issue). Unknown Precept says the sound of the compilation is "halfway between incisive primitivist rave-techno and cerebral experimentation."
The Black Ideal will be released on double 12-inch and digital formats, and will also feature previously unreleased material from Paris-based producer Mondkopf (in collaboration with Saåad), Polar Inertia, Casual Violence, AnD, and the Violetshaped duo, AKA Shapednoise and Violet Poison, who will release their debut album next month.
