Five live gigs—four in the US and one in Canada by way of Montreal—are coming up for the Brazilian favorite.
Veteran Brazilian producer, globetrotting live act and Kompakt label fixture Gui Boratto will head to North America for five bookings over two weekends, starting next Friday.
Boratto is fresh from last month's release of his Too Late EP—not to mention yet another long tour of Europe. His latest jaunt to North America starts with a night at Spy Bar next Friday. That weekend also includes stops in Montreal, where he'll play a special Saturday afternoon edition of Piknic Electronik, and New York, where he's billed with stalwart UK DJ Radio Slave at a Sunday night Verboten event at Highline Ballroom to help ring in Labour Day. The following weekend, Boratto will head to the West Coast to play for Blasthaus at The Regency in San Francisco, before the quick tour ends in Los Angeles at Exchange LA. Matthew Dear and John Acquaviva are also on the lineup for that one.
Tickets to the shows in Chicago, NYC and LA are all available on RA. And for more on Boratto's Kompakt connection, have a look at our oral history of the label from earlier this year.
