- The two producers will renew their studio partnership on a new EP, due out in December.
Zip and Baby Ford have teamed up as BFZ for an EP called Uff.
The two artists have put out three records together since 1999, but this is the first time they've worked under the name BFZ. Their past collaborations have seen release through Baby Ford's PAL SL imprint and Zip's Perlon—this time round the EP will come out on Ford's other label, Trelik. Both producers maintain low profiles and unhurried release schedules—new records from Zip in particular are few and far between. Uff features an edit of the title track by Thomas Melchior alongside three original cuts. The record will hit the shelves on December 2nd—in the meantime you can listen to samples over on the Juno website.
