- The veteran disco jock will return to Australia in June.
Nicky Siano will visit Australia next month to play three shows.
The New York native is one of the city's true disco legends, opening famed nightspot The Gallery in 1972 and influencing DJs like Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles. More than four decades on, Siano continues to gig around the world and has recently released a documentary film, Love Is The Message: A Night At The Gallery, that includes footage of Knuckles and David Mancuso.
His return trip to Australia will begin with a show at The Spice Cellar in Sydney on June 5th as part of the club's Vivid festival involvement, where Siano will precede his performance with a live interview by local actor Alex Dimitriades. The following night he'll play at Sugar in Adelaide for House Of Disco, before heading over to Melbourne for a set at The Toff In Town with House De Frost captain Andee Frost.
