The UK artist will play two live shows in Australia ahead of his next album, The Shakes.
Matthew Herbert will return to Australia in May to play two shows.
After leaving his house-leaning Herbert alias dormant for eight years, 2014 saw the English musician return to his numbered 12-inch series, resulting in Parts 6, 7 and 8. For the past few weeks he's been drip-feeding tracks from his forthcoming LP, The Shakes, due out May 29th on Caroline International. So far you can check out videos for "Middle", "Battle" and "Strong".
Herbert will bring the full live band he debuted in London along for the tour. It begins at Melbourne's Prince Bandroom on May 22nd, with Mad Racket and Niche enlisting Edd Fisher, Richard Campbell and Declan Kelly for support duties. The following night he heads to The Studio at the Sydney Opera House for Racket's Vivid Live show with residents Ken Cloud, Zootie, Jimmi James and Simon Caldwell.
Tickets to the Melbourne gig are available here on RA.
