The Deepblak boss will celebrate at an underground party next month.
Aybee will play the one-year anniversary of The Shuffle Co-Op at an underground location in Oakland on May 15th.
Last year, Aybee, real name Armon Bazile, released a couple of EPs on his own Deepblak label as well as Sketches Of Space, a full-length cosmic jazz-influenced collaboration with close associate Afrikan Sciences. The Shuffle Co-Op has had success bringing deep, mostly American dance producers to the Bay Area—over their first year, they've hosted Mike Huckaby, Nicuri, Joey Anderson and Andrés, among others. Shuffle residents Petko Nikolov, Max Gardner and Indy Nyles are on support duties for May's all-night event.
Tickets to The Shuffle Co-Op are available on RA.
