- The highly sought-after ambient opus will get a fresh release via Masin's own label, The Bear On The Moon, in the coming weeks.
Gigi Masin's 1986 Wind album will be reissued on Masin's own label, The Bear On The Moon.
Wind didn't cause much of a stir when it was first released, but in recent times it's been a highly sought-after record in digging circles. Masin, a musician from Venice, came to prominence after Amsterdam's Music From Memory issued a retrospective of his music titled Talk To The Sea in 2014. Since then he's collaborated with Jonny Nash and Young Marco as Gaussian Curve, appeared on PAN alongside Max D and issued a joint LP with Tempelhof. Wind, which is due to land in a few weeks, will be available on vinyl and digital formats.
Music From Memory cofounder Tako Reyenga spoke about Masin's work in a recent Playing Favourites feature—check it out here.
