The Black Madonna returns to Australia in March

- The Black Madonna will tour Australia this March. The Chicago DJ—real name Marea Stamper—lands in Melbourne on March 4th to play a Rare Move party at Lounge alongside CC:DISCO and Brooke Powers. Mad Racket will host her at Sydney's Factory Theatre on the evening of March 5th with residents Simon Caldwell, Ken Cloud, Jimmi James and Zootie in tow, then she jets over to Perth on the 11th for a Fungle Club block party, location TBA, where the bill also features Catlips, Toni Yotyzi and Garbage vs Mango. Canberra is next up on the 12th with details TBA, before things wrap up with a set at Golden Plains 2016 which runs from March 12th through 14th at the Meredith Supernatural Ampitheatre in Victoria. The Australian tour commences on the same weekend as RA's In Residence series launches at smartbar, the celebrated Chicago club whose programme Stamper curates. She'll play alongside DJ Harvey at the venue on March 19th. Tickets to the Melbourne show are available here on RA.
