- The UK techno label is celebrating two decades in the game with a full-length compilation of new tracks.
Blueprint will release a 20 Years Of Blueprint compilation in May.
Founded in 1996, Blueprint is among the UK's most influential techno labels. It emerged during an especially fertile period for UK techno, emerging around the same time as hugely respected operations such as Downwards, Peacefrog and Dynamic Tension.
20 Years Of Blueprint collects 17 previously unreleased cuts from a UK-heavy pool of friends and associates. Due out at the end of May, there'll be tracks from Regis, Randomer, Truss, Planetary Assault Systems, Blawan and Oliver Ho, along with a few contributions from founder James Ruskin (under his birth name and alongside Mark Broom as The Fear Ratio). The package will land as a four-disc vinyl set, pressed onto clear wax, and each set will also include a poster and a batch of stickers.
In other Blueprint news, it's been revealed that Oliver Ho—an artist who's been aligned with the outlet since its early days—is returning with his first EP under his birth name in more than ten years. It's called the Burning Heretics EP and due out on April 4th.
