Our global run of parties will hit Glasgow, Rome and Seoul this fall.
The next three stops in our In Residence series will take us to Glasgow's Sub Club, Goa Club in Rome and Seoul venue Mystik.
The In Residence series has showcased some of the most cherished nightclubs in the world, with stints in Chicago, Paris, Offenbach, Lisbon, Helsinki and Barcelona so far. Our next few choices shine a light on three very different dance scenes.
In September we'll be at Sub Club in Glasgow. Founded in 1987, it's one of the UK's most historic and energetic nightspots. We'll open with a party headlined by a certified dance music legend—Sasha—alongside Hammer on September 18th, before the likes of Barnt, Virginia, Audion and Selvagem perform across the following three dates (September 23rd, 24th and 30th.) Club staples Junior & Barry Price, Harri & Domenic and Optimo will also spin at various points throughout the month.
In October it's Rome's Goa Club. The venue, whose decor sits somewhere between opulent and industrial, has been a crucial outlet for house and techno lovers in the Italian capital for 16 years. We touch down on Thursday, October 13th, with a session from two techno artists at their peak of their powers: Daniel Avery and Silent Servant. The next day sees Jeff Mills headline with local luminary Neel. Giegling's Konstantin takes the reigns with Job Jobse on the 27th, and closing the month on the 28th we invite cult favourite Rhadoo.
November takes us to a lesser-known dance music hotspot: Seoul. South Korea might not be known as an international clubbing destination, but Mystik has quietly built a reputation as one of Asia's best nightclubs. With a superb soundsystem, a host of international underground bookings and capacity of just 150, the club is one of Seoul's dance music sanctuaries. Our time at Mystik begins on November 3rd with Dixon, RA's number one DJ of the past three years. German techno legend Moritz von Oswald will headline on the 12th. On the 19th, onetime Breaking Through subject Wata Igarashi and Diskonnected, a resident DJ of Smoke Machine, which runs Organik Festival in Taiwan, take control. On the 25th Berlin minimal favourite Binh will be appearing. Local DJs and residents will also be playing across each date.
