- Musique Pour La Danse will release the rave pioneer's latest records in January.
Frankie Bones is putting out two new Bonesbreaks EPs on January 27th through Musique Pour La Danse.
The Bonesbreaks series was launched by the New York DJ in 1988, partly inspired by his experiences at UK raves at the time. The label calls the original records "sample-based tools for the working DJ," reflecting Bones' "deep love for dope breaks and dirty techno sounds."
The latest Bonesbreaks records, the first since 1996, hearken back to the originals, bringing "you back in time inside a sweaty hangar where fresh nasty stabs and acid hypnotic basslines are ruling the night forever," according to Musique Pour La Danse, which has also released archival material from Orlando Voorn and new beat lynchpin Ro Maron.
