- Funds from the sale of the 13-track digital collection will go to the Greater Houston Autonomous Relief.
Experimental club producers Malcriado and Englesia have pulled together a 13-track compilation to aid groups working to rebuild Houston, Texas after Hurricane Harvey.
Laurel Halo and Chino Amobi head up Praxis Houston, which also includes tracks from producers Endgame, Kamixlo and Kareem Lotfy. It will benefit the Greater Houston Autonomous Relief fund, a coalition of grassroots groups that are participating in the rebuilding efforts. The coalition includes Solidarity Houston, S.H.A.P.E. Center, Campaign Nonviolence Houston, Houston Peace & Justice Center, Houston Anarchist Black Cross, Black Lives Matter Houston Chapter, Resilient Nacogdoches, World On My Shoulders and Black Women's Defense League. Hurricane Harvey hit Texas late last month and wreaked havoc across the southeast region of the state and Louisiana, killing over 70 and displacing at least 30,000 people.
