- It'll come out on his MANHIGH label in November.
Henning Baer is releasing an album for the first time.
The 11-track Shatterproof features plenty of the dark techno that the German artist is known for, alongside ambient interludes and other more experimental pieces. The press release describes the album with terms like "corroded textures... enveloped in decaying reverb," and calls the LP "a work of dark minimalism." It comes via Baer's MANHIGH label, which he launched last year. Most of Baer's past work was released via Sonic Groove and K209, the label he founded with Milton Bradley. Baer also organizes the long-running Grounded Theory party in Berlin.
