The independent Tottenham club, which supports mental health charities, will use a second room and an outdoor space.
New London venue The Cause is celebrating its launch weekend by expanding.
Following preview parties in April and May, the Tottenham venue is ready to officially open its doors over the next bank holiday weekend—May 25th through 27th. Three new spaces will be ready for the long weekend's events: a second room, called The Garage, an outdoor terrace and a bar for members.
On Friday the 25th, Felix Dickinson and Faceless will both perform, with 50% of door profits going to charity. Dark Sky and Tom Demac, who will go back-to-back with Ste Roberts, play on Saturday, while Sunday sees a day-into-night block party featuring Mark E, Harri and Andy Blake. It'll be free to anyone who signs up to become a member and arrives early.
Stuart Glen, cofounder of The Cause, told Resident Advisor about the soft open: "The last few weeks have been incredible at the space and we've picked up loads of momentum. ... Everyone's been really positive."
The Cause's first party was on April 13th, which kicked off its crowdfunding campaign. The team hopes to raise £25,000 for its charity partners, which include Mind In Haringey, C.A.L.M. and Help Musicians UK.
