Richie Hawtin to DJ at Berghain for the first time in six years

- Richie Hawtin will DJ at Berghain this month. The gig on Friday, June 29th, will be his first at the Berlin club (with which he hasn't always enjoyed a smooth relationship) in six years. The only other DJ on the bill is the Panorama Bar resident Roi Perez. This is the second big announcement to come from a Berlin venue this week. Funkhaus announced on Wednesday that Aphex Twin will play there for his first show in the city for 15 years. Either side of his gig at Berghain, Hawtin will DJ at Sónar Festival, Pacha, Chicago's Mamby On The Beach and Awakenings Festival. Revisit Hawtin's 2008 RA podcast.
