- The LP arrives in June.
Plaid are back with a new album for Warp Records.
Ed Handley and Andy Turner's tenth studio album, Polymer, is coming this June via the UK label they've called home since 1997. The LP features 13 new tracks that cover "energetic bangers," "melodic visceral rhythms" and "wombic textures," according to the press release.
"The problems and benefits of polymers felt like good themes for this album," the duo says, "their repetitious strength, endurance and troubling persistence, the natural versus the synthetic, silk and silicone, the significant effect they have on our lives."
Plaid's last album for Warp, The Digging Remedy, came out in 2016.
