Elena Colombi will launch her record label, Osàre! Editions, in September.
The first release is a collaboration between CGI Records boss Matt Weiner and Lithuanian producer Ernestas Sadau under the moniker Free Range. The six-track record, King Of Snake, mixes "lovingly sludgy" DIY electronics with new wave influences. The next release on the label will be an "in-depth dive" into the catalogue of Greek musician Thanasis Zlatanos and his works of experimental synthesis, from the early 1980s to the present day.
Inspired by Colombi's own wide-ranging record collection, Osàre (which means "daring" or "bold" in Italian) will focus on "future-facing music culled from a legacy of forward-thinking experimentation and abandon, imbued with a sense of complete freedom, transcending expectations of time and genre."
