Palms Trax named London club XOYO's next quarterly resident

- Every Friday from April through June, Jay Donaldson will host a variety of guests at the Shoreditch venue.
- Palms Trax will be XOYO's next quarterly resident. Fridays from April 3rd to June 26th, Jay Donaldson will host a variety of guests at the Shoreditch venue, with the full lineup to be announced next week. (He'll handle the XOYO basement solo all night long for the opening and closing parties.) "I'm at this nice point where instead of trying to disown everything I've done before, I'm beginning to join some dots," Palms Trax said. "This is the perfect way to present everything I love about club music whilst seriously keeping me on my toes for a few months. I've always romanticized the idea of a residency, having been obsessed at one point or another with Daniele Baldelli at Cosmic, the Metalheadz night at Blue Note, Junior Vasquez at Sound Factory, and then more recently the Ostgut residents at Panorama Bar and Berghain." Donaldson has previously released on labels like Lobster Theremin, Dekmantel and Rush Hour, and is XOYO's 26th resident, following on from Dusky. See the complete list of residency dates here.
