Big names are making the trip down under for the nationwide Future Music Festival, the open-air rave happening over three weekends next March.
The biggest cheers and whistles should be for Sven Vath, who will play his first Australian dates in four years. The Cocoon chief will be joined by John Digweed, also back after an eighteen month break, and The Chemical Brothers, who will bring their neontastic live show to four of the five dates - croweaters in Adelaide miss out.
As in past years, FMF will be hoping to have something for everyone with, house (Roger Sanchez, Robbie Rivera, The Shapeshifters), turntablism (Diplo, DJ Yoda, Kid Koala), trance (Markus Schulz), hard dance (Eddie Halliwell), breaks (Elite Force), electro (D.I.M) and bands (Who Made Who, The Black Ghosts) represented in the first round of names. Glasto's novelty arena Silent Disco, where the music is pumped out on headphones not speakers, also makes its Australian debut.
