- Manchester meets Delhi via dub and bassweight.
- Amused by the aggressive birds he encountered during a recent trip to India's capital city, Manchester's Zed Bias joined forces with up-and-coming Indian producer Stain for this spontaneous collaboration. Featuring bursts of sharp tabla drumming fortified with low-end pressure, rumbling bass whomps and bits of broken jazz-funk melody, "Delhi Birds" sits somewhere in between 2-step, dub and UK bass. Despite all these layers, the track feels pretty roomy thanks to a minimal arrangement that nods to deep dubstep. Let's hope this Manchester x Delhi tie-up yields more releases.
